Tennis Victoria is delighted to announce that the Victorian Premier, Daniel Andrews, has confirmed that community competition can resume for non-contact sports, including tennis, from next Monday, 22 June. You can read the announcement here. This is a great result for tennis.
The last few months have been extremely challenging for the tennis community, but this marks the next positive step in the return of our sport from the COVID-19 crisis. Once again, Tennis Victoria would like to thank everyone involved in tennis across the State for your ongoing support and for the safe way in which the return to tennis has been managed, allowing Government to have confidence in now allowing competition to return.
Association tennis competition can recommence from 22 June. We will post Guidelines for the Return to Community Tennis Competition on the Tennis Victoria website in the next few days along with a timetable for the return of our own competitions including Pennant.
